Emerald Street Books initiative put together by Creator Writer, Poet and Author Allyson Louise, coincides with the upcoming release of the first book in the series Showsy Growsy's Musical Fracasee, Austin Macauley Publishers.

The Austin Macauley Showsy Growsy series consists of eight books in Children's Literature, with each book dedicated to an individual mathematical core subject. The full range suitable for children of pre-preparatory school ages between 4-8, offers a comprehensive collection of mathematical themes including Forms, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Place Value, Ratio and Proportion.

Each plot critically frames protagonist Showsy Growsy in a preferred authorial position as the esteemed scholar or playmate. Antagonists identical twins Bubbledegook and Bubbledegeek, are then repeatedly posed to overcome her continued prescribed critical role of expectation through reflection, tolerance and self-discipline.

The use of rhyme contextualised with individual core math subjects has been applied throughout with both alliteration and assonance driving the action within each narrative forward.

In support of Austin Macauley's upcoming publication of the first book in the series 2026, Emerald Street Books is offering two further Showsy Growsy works aside from mandatory maths for any fans out there!
